FSL Receives The MetLife Foundation Community Impact Grant

Family Service League is pleased to announce that it has received a grant for $5,000 from The MetLife Foundation through their Community Impact Grant Program (CIGP). The grant will assist Family Service League in providing quality, affordable, and accessible counseling services to survivors of domestic violence.

Family Service League provides services to all community members, regardless of their financial means, and fulfills a need that directly impacts our community. Since 2023, Family Service League has approximately doubled the number of counseling sessions for its clients, with survivors of sexual violence and domestic violence, including their significant others, making up roughly 75% of all sessions.

“We are deeply grateful to the MetLife Foundation for this generous grant,” said Nur S. Kalyoncu, Executive Director of Family Service League. “This funding will enable us to continue expanding our counseling services, helping more individuals and families in our community overcome challenges and build brighter futures. We look forward to making an even greater impact together.”
