Spooky Strides for Strength 5K
FSL/SAVE is excited to be partnering with Partners NJ and other local domestic violence organizations to sponsor Spooky Strides for Strength, a Halloween-themed 5K run/walk event in October in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month!
National Sexual Assault Conference 2024
The National Sexual Assault Conference® (NSAC) brings together over 2,000 advocates committed to ending sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. This annual event is filled with opportunities to advance learning, develop skills, share information, build relationships, and increase our capacity to assert the dignity of all people. Together at NSAC, we build strong partnerships and strategies that strengthen our work to end sexual violence. Respect Together will host NSAC 2024 in Washington, D.C, August 14-16, 2024.

NJCASA Movement for a Safer NJ
Movement for a Safer NJ is a 1.8-mile walk honoring the estimated 1.8 million survivors of contact sexual violence in NJ. 75% of the proceeds that FSL/SAVE raises will benefit FSL/SAVE directly, and the remaining 25% benefits NJCASA and survivors statewide.

Join us for the 4th LUNAFEST hosted by Family Service League!
LUNAFEST, the world’s first all-women traveling film festival, promotes films by women for women. It provides a national platform to significant and diverse women filmmakers to showcase their short films. This year, eight short films will be featured. You may see the list of the films here.

Attending LUNAFEST helps survivors and their loved ones feel less alone.
Your purchase will help survivors of sexual violence by funding our 24/7 confidential emergency hotline, direct services and trauma-informed counseling. The hotline is staffed by trained Confidential Sexual Violence Advocates (CSVAs) who provide emotional support, safety planning, resources and referrals for those who have experienced sexual violence or care about someone who has. The CSVAs also accompany survivors to the hospital for evidence collection, police stations for reporting, and court rooms for support. Our trauma-informed therapists provide counseling to the survivors and their loved ones.
